Completed at least four years of tertiary education.
Achieved an 80% average or equivalent in the research component of their previous study.
Met the minimum entry requirements for an HDR program at Deakin University.

Current HDR students at Deakin are also eligible to apply, provided they have not completed more than 3 years of their doctoral course or 2 years of their master's course.
